The 30th Almada Festival opens on 4 July 2013 with a showcase by the Slovenian Youth Theatre of 'Damned be the Traitor of his Homeland!'. A guest performance in Washington follows.

The Almada is Portugal's most prestigious theatre and musical festival, which runs until 18 July 2013 at various venues in Almada and Lisbon.
The Slovenian Youth Theatre is meanwhile eagerly awaited and feted in Washington, where at the end of August it is set to perform Norman Allen's Nijinsky's Last Dance, directed by Marko Mlačnik and with Primož Bezjak as Nijinsky. The play will be performed five times in Washington as part of the programme accompanying the exhibition of Diaghilev and Russian Ballet, 1909 ― 1929. During this time the art of dance with music is on show at the National Gallery of Art up to 2 September 2013.
