In mid-October, Berlin played host to the 2nd Asia-Europe conference for mayors and governors entitled ‘Strategies for change’, in which City of Ljubljana representatives took part.

The conference was attended by City Councillor Nives Cesar MSc (Zoran Janković’s List), who contributed to a plenary session entitled “How do we want to live together tomorrow?” a presentation of significant developmental achievements in the fields of city urban development, sustainable mobility projects which we are implementing in Ljubljana and current developments in the art and culture field.

The conference was attended by representatives of 20 capital cities from Europe and Asia.

German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle was a special guest, while the conference was hosted by Governing Mayor of Berlin Klaus Wowereit.
