Ljubljana is once again hosting a top sports competition.

The WTT Star Contender series tournament in table tennis will be held in the Tivoli Hall from 3 to 9 July 2023, attended by most of the best players in the world, including the best Slovenian player Darko Jorgić.

Almost 300 players from 45 countries are competing in the tournament. A member of the organizational team Borut Miklič, MSc, pointed out that, among other things, they are proud that they managed to bring one of this year's five biggest table tennis tournaments to Slovenia. »The goal was for the Tivoli Hall to host the world's best table tennis players again after almost 60 years, and we succeeded. I want to thank all the sponsors for making this event possible with their support, especially the Slovenian Tourist Board and the City of Ljubljana,« he added.
