European Week of Regions and Cities 2016

The City of Ljubljana, in cooperation with the Slovenian Business and Research Association in Brussels, is going to present the Transport Logistic Centre Ljubljana at the European Week of Regions and Cities 2016.

On 11 October 2016, at the invitation of the Slovenian Business and Research Association, the City of Ljubljana is going to actively participate in the European Week of Regions and Cities (ERWC), the largest event of the kind in Europe. ERWC is a four-day event held annually in Brussels enabling regional and city administration officials, professionals and academics to exchange good practices, knowledge and experience in the field of regional and city development.
At the workshop focused on sustainable investment in transport infrastructure (TEN-T), the City of Ljubljana, together with its partners from Spain, Portugal, Poland and the Czech Republic, is going to present its transport project Logistic Centre Ljubljana. Based on its long-lasting cooperation with the Slovenian Business and Research Association, the City of Ljubljana is taking part in EWRC for the seventh year running, presenting its good practices as well as accumulating and exchanging knowledge and experience for its future projects.
The Slovenian Business and Research Association in Brussels, established in 1999, serves as a link between economy, science and research in Slovenia, and on the public private partnership basis it aligning public interests with those of businesses and the research community. Members of the association are business, research institutions, educational organizations, public institutions and local communities.
