The city of ljubljana awarded by the slovenian science foundation
On Thursday 20 December 2012 the City of Ljubljana received the Slovenian Science Foundation’s ‘Excellent Partnership’ charter.
At the Slovenian Science Foundation’s traditional gala ceremony ‘Thanksgiving Day’, Dr Edvard Kobal awarded the City of Ljubljana the Slovenian Science Foundation’s ‘Excellent Partnership’ charter for its work in the development of youth research work and the development of science labs for children. The award was accepted on behalf of the City of Ljubljana by Marija Fabčič, Head of the City’s Pre-School Education and Schooling Department.
The City of Ljubljana’s Pre-School Education and Schooling Department has been supporting and co-financing youth research work for 25 years and via public tenders in 2012 co-financed 64 projects in primary and middle schools and NGO work in this field.
