The MOL (Municipality of Ljubljana) municipal spatial plan designers, the Urban Planning Institute of Ljubljana, the Urban Planning Institute of Republic Slovenia and the Oikus Bureau received the Maks Fabiani Award 2012 for outstanding accomplishments in spatial planning.

The award is presented for accomplishments in spatial or urban planning by the Town and Spatial Planning Association of Slovenia, the Municipality of Komen and the Maks Fabiani Foundation in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia.
By accepting the award, the MOL municipal spatial plan designers are immediately nominated for the European spatial planning award as the Slovenian national selection.
