The photographic exhibition Geneses by Sebastião Salgado, on display in the City Museum of Ljubljana and the Jakopič Gallery, has been, due to great interest, extended until Sunday, 11 September 2016.

The exhibition has been extended in agreement with the author who recognised that the presentation of Genesis in Ljubljana, because of its unique placement in the local environment and the active involvement of visitors, is an important contribution to the spreading of his global message.
The exhibition, with over 15,000 visitors so far, is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10.00 until 21.00, and Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday from 10.00 until 18.00.
In addition, the City Museum of Ljubljana and the Jakopič Gallery are preparing an interesting programme rounding up the last days of the exhibition, among other things, guided tours in the English language (every Saturday at 16.30) and screenings of the documentary The Salt of the Earth (France, 2014) every Tuesday at 12.00 and Saturday at 19.00.
