The slovenian team won

The Slovenian team NERVteh won at the international investment forum and start-up competition – SEE Innovation Competition where 20 corporate teams from South-Eastern Europe presented themselves.

Teams from Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Hungary, Italy, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia and Slovakia presented themselves at the forum. In the morning session the teams have tried to impress investors to qualify for the semi-final that took place in the evening, when eight finalists competed for prizes.
The NERVteh team reached the finals with an entrepreneurial idea of affordable driving simulator to reduce traffic accidents. This idea was then declared by the panel of investors for the best business idea of the SEE Innovation Competition.

The SEE Innovation Competition event was held in the context of the transnational PROFIS project, which aims to encourage financing of innovation in the area of South-Eastern Europe. A consortium of ten partners from nine countries, among them the Technology Park Ljubljana, has carried out training programmes within the framework of the project at a national level for potential entrepreneurs to receive investment and national selection of start-up teams with a view of presenting the best of them at the International Investment Forum in Budapest.
Based on the experience in the organisation of corporate programmes and selections/competitions for the best business ideas the Technology Park Ljubljana has carried out preparation of the process of selection of national competitions and the implementation of the International Investment Forum in Budapest.
