The Community Health Care Centre Ljubljana has opened two additional family medicine practices within its Vič-Rudnik unit in the Technology Park Ljubljana.

With the two practices they want to ensure a higher quality of health care services for their users, better work conditions for their employees as well as to unburden the overwhelmed Vič unit at Šestova ulica 10. At the same time they are searching for other possible solutions to the overcrowding problems with which the unit is confronted.

In the past few years the Community Health Care Centre Ljubljana has been experiencing overcrowding problems in other units, as well, as they are faced with a quickly rising number of diagnosed patients, a significant increase of visits and new activities, particularly in the units Center, Vič-Rudnik and Bežigrad.
