On 24 October 2012, Mayor Zoran Janković welcomed the Mayor of the Central Singapore District Sam Tan Chin Siong and his delegation to City Hall.

The delegation was in Ljubljana as part of a visit to three European cities, Berlin, Vienna and Ljubljana.
The guests also met representatives of the Slovenian Parliament, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology and the Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Entrepreneurship and Foreign Investments.

The VIP guests took the opportunity to sign the City of Ljubljana’s memorial book.
