On 3 July 2015, Mayor Zoran Janković, with the delegation from the City of Ljubljana, visited Sarajevo where he attended the award ceremony recognising best managers in Central and Southeast Europe

The recognitions awarded by the Directorate for Selection of Top Managers in Bosnia and Hercegovina were given to Slovenian businesspeople as well, namely Izet Rastoder, Stojan Petrič and Tanja Skaza, while the Mayor recognized as the best mayor of the decade in this part of Europe.

At the award ceremony the Mayor said the recognition is at the same time an award to all his co-workers and citizens of Ljubljana. He added he is proud of Ljubljana, the European Green Capital 2016, which is a tolerant city where everyone can find a place of their own.
