Visual Communications at City Hall
The Vidna Sporočila (Visual Communication) exhibition by Nenad Cizl, one of the most interesting illustrators and designers in Slovenia, will be on display until 18 March 2015 at the Historical atrium of the City Hall.
This is the first exhibition of Cizl's portfolio in one place and exhibition area. His portfolio includes a selection of visual images, posters, logos, cultural events projects and advertising campaigns. At the same time it is the first exhibition in the cycle of copyright presentations of visual communication designers by the Brumen Foundation, which intends to strengthen the role and meaning of visual communication among the public and economy.
Nenad Cizl has been active in the area of illustration and visual communication design for over 20 years. He received the prestigious Merit Award of the Art Directors Club (ADC) in New York, and several highly professional awards and recognition awards in Slovenia: Academy of Fine Arts and Design of the University of Ljubljana, Slovenian Advertising Festival (SOF), Magdalena International Festival of Creative Communication, and Biennial of Slovene Visual Communications. His creativity is also taking him into the international space – his most prominent projects are the Olympic Games poster Berlin 1916 (Y&R Prague Agency, The Missing Olympics project) and illustrations for three world fairytales (Slovakian Jandl Agency, social campaign of encouraging children to reading).
