The Ljubljana Castle has launched a new tourist experience titled The Wisdom of Castle Wine. It is an interactive walk using a mobile app intended primarily for aficionados of wine, history and nature walks.

In the company of virtual sommelier Urban, protector of vineyards and wine, visitors set out on a walk on the castle wine trails and in a slightly different way discover interesting facts about the castle grapevine and the history of the castle, the wine drinking culture, complete interactive tasks with enhanced reality, and finally, after successfully solving all of the tasks, treat themselves to a glass with a view.

The wine experience The Wisdom of Castle Wine mainly takes place outdoors. The app is accessible in five languages, in addition to Slovenian, in English, German, Italian and French. The price of a ticket, which includes a castle ticket, is 13 euro per person, or 15 euro per person including a ticket for the funicular.
