We donated two buses to Ukraine

Deputy Director of the Public Company Ljubljanski potniški promet d.o.o. (JP LPP), Rok Vihar, and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Tanja Fajon, handed over two buses to the Ambassador of Ukraine to Slovenia, Andriy Taran, donated to Ukraine as part of the European Union's solidarity campaign.

The City of Ljubljana and the JP LPP have jointly responded to the solidarity campaign of the European Commission, which called for the donation of buses that will be used to ensure the safe return of Ukrainian children to school. The website of the European Union states that as many as 5.7 million Ukrainian school-aged children feel the consequences of Russian aggression, and over 2,800 educational institutions are damaged or destroyed.

We donated two MAN intercity buses, which until recently were used for transporting Slovenian school-aged children, but now they will continue their mission in Ukraine. Both buses have 51 passenger seats each.
