Website award for ljubljana city library
Ljubljana City Library's homepage won the Netko Award 2013 for the best website in the category Digital presence of governance and public administration.
The three-member jury, consisting of Aleš Dobnikar (Ministry of Foreign Affairs), Peter Sterle (Ministry of Education, Science and Sport), and Domen Savič (e-democracy) stated the following about Ljubljana City Library's homepage:
"A complex and rare classic informative portal, which successfully compiles lots of information and passes it on to clearly defined target groups without any unnecessary glamour."
We would like to congratulate all colleagues at Ljubljana City Library who contributed to the project and invested a lot of knowledge, efforts and ideas to make the homepage user-friendly, modern and useful for all user groups.
The Netko Award, which has been awarded for the 15th consecutive time this year, is intended for companies, institutions, bureaus, communities and individuals who stand out with the quality of their digital projects.
This year, as many as 107 projects applied for the Netko Award.
