The Primula Tea House has opened its doors on 4 June 2014 at the University Botanic Garden Ljubljana.

Its visitors can enjoy warm and cold drinks, as well as sweets and snacks. The existing path arrangement of the Garden and green surfaces create a neat summer garden which seats up to 35 guests. At lower temperatures the service is moved inside, where the visitors can find information on the Garden's history and plants, a choice of publications and books, and occasional exhibitions of photographs.

The Tea House was financially supported by Ljubljana Tourism.

The University Botanic Garden Ljubljana is an important green and tourist spot, as well as the oldest cultural, scientific and educational institution. Its activity has been uninterrupted since 1810, classifying it among the older European gardens.
