Winning architectural solution for a new neighbourhood at Litijska cesta
In a public architectural competition we have chosen the most appropriate architectural solution for a new residential neighbourhood at the crossroads of Litijska cesta and Pesarska cesta where the construction of non-profit apartments is planned.
In the opinion of the evaluation committee the architectural bureau NAVA ARHITEKTI d.o.o. presented the best solution by foreseeing a partially open residential area with a central space, public square at the crossroads and an active ground floor alongside Pesarska cesta.
New non-profit apartments
The construction of 95 non-profit rental apartments, underground garages, outdoor and traffic infrastructure and municipal utilities is planned in this area. The neighbourhood is going to include two residential units for the cohabitation of the elderly, with each unit consisting of up to four individual rooms each equipped with its own bathroom.
Competition entries are going to be on display in an exhibition on the ground floor of the building of the Public Housing Fund of the City of Ljubljana at Zarnikova ulica. The exhibition opens on Wednesday, 1 July 2020, at 15:00.
