The idea to celebrate World Art Nouveau Day came to the Hungarian Art Nouveau Magazine contributors in 2013. Since then, all activities on the World Art Nouveau Day have been coordinated by the international Réseau Art Nouveau Network (RANN) in Brussels and the Ruta del Modernisme in Barcelona, with Ljubljana as a member of both networks. During the week around 10 June, various events take place in all partner cities of the network – exhibitions, lectures, guided tours of cities and museum collections.
