In Ljubljana, we are joining the celebration of 20 May, the World Bee Day. We are preparing a market day in the Town Square and in the City Hall an exhibition on bees in Ljubljana.

For the second consecutive year Ljubljana is carrying out the campaign We will cut the grass when the bees are fed, with which we are stressing the significance of late grass cutting for bees and other pollinators.

In Ljubljana, we take care of our environment and live in harmony with nature. We are aware that an orderly, clean and green environment has a significant impact on the quality of life for everyone. With such activities we are pursuing sustainable development of our city and preserving and increasing biodiversity while reducing our carbon footprint.
