The Sports Park Arena Stožice has hosted the World Junior Judo Championship from 23rd to 27th October 2013.

The Stožice Arena has once again hosted a world-class sporting event – after the European Basketball Championship the judokas from around the world attended the event.
Judo athletes from 91 countries have attended, among them the Slovenian team of 23 members. Urška Žolnir is one of the coaches of the team as well as the ambassador of the championship.
