After long holidays pupils returned to schools, among them 2,875 first-graders. We wish everybody a happy, healthy and successful schoolyear!

On the first school day Mayor Zoran Janković payed a visit to a few primary schools in Ljubljana to wish schoolchildren a successful schoolyear and to advise them to be friends and enjoy spending time together.

The Mayor visited nine primary schools in Ljubljana, namely, primary schools Danila Kumar, Spodnja Šiška, France Bevk, Oskar Kovačič – subsidiary Rudnik, Poljane, Vodmat, Trnovo, Vič and Kolezija.

We used the time during the holidays for school renovations, and in primary schools Kolezija and Sostro schoolchildren were happy to find new playgrounds.
