Ljubljana one of most affordable european tourist city
The AMZS association and its partner automobile clubs have conducted a research within the EuroTest consortium. The results were a comparison of prices of a short tourist trip, a city break, and Ljubljana was placed third among the twenty European cities.

New golf course
The new Youth Golf Centre Stanežiče (Mladinski Golf Center Stanežiče) has been opened in September 2014 in Ljubljana. The Centre offers two practice greens and 9 short holes (Pitch & Putt), and is intended for young golf players and the golf school of the clubs and societies of Ljubljana.

Cankarjevo embankment and ribja footbridge
The Cankarjevo Nabrežje embankment has been renovated, and the two banks of the Ljubljanica River are connected by the new Ribja Brv footbridge.

New cycling paths in ljubljana
Ljubljana has gained one of four planned thematic cycling paths – the Waterside Path and the long-awaited cycling path through the Tivoli Park, which shortens the route from North to the South of Ljubljana.

Renovated republic square
Republic Square, the central city and national square in front of the Slovenian Parliament, has been completely renovated and from now on intended for events, pedestrians and cyclists only.

The mayor of Ljubljana, Zoran Janković and the SEE Real Estate Manager at IKEA, Vladislav Lalić signed the Memorandum of Understanding defining the commitment and intentions of both clients at the possible opening of an IKEA shop in Ljubljana.
