The Ljubljana Festival, one of the more important summer festivals in Europe, will again mark the summer in Ljubljana. It will take place from 28 June to 28 September 2015.

Free Summer School for Young Entrepreneurs
The free summer school for young entrepreneurs 'Cities of the Future through Service Innovation' will be organised between 12 and 22 July 2015. The city will give additional inspiration to the summer school by developing services addressing social and environmental challenges in urban environments. The application deadline is 15 May 2015.

Upgraded Comprehensive Patient Care (cpc+)
Partners of the 'Upgraded Comprehensive Patient Care (CPC+)' project signed a partnership agreement on 17 April 2015 in the City Hall. The project is funded under the 2009–2014 Norwegian Financial Mechanism programme and will end on 30 April 2016.

Ljubljana was awarded the Tourism for Tomorrow Destination Award at the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) solemn event on 15 April 2015 in Madrid.

Happy Birthday, Tivoli Hall
The legendary Tivoli Hall sports park is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The milestone will be commemorated on Thursday, 16 April 2015 at 8 p.m. with the "50 Years of Tivoli Hall" event.

Iclei World Congress
Deputy Mayor Dejan Crnek has attended the ICLEI World Congress 2015 in Seoul, South Korea between 8 and 12 April 2015. He presented Ljubljana, the European Green Capital 2016.

In Memoriam Jože Ciuha
On 12 April 2015 died an honorary citizen of Ljubljana, academic painter and University professor. In his memory, the City Hall held a mourning session of the City of Ljubljana City Council on 13 April 2015.

New Trees in Green Ljubljana
On 11 April 2015, a first tree-planting campaign was held during which we planted about 4 thousand trees on Šišenski Hrib, Golovec and in Zajčja Dobrava. The campaign took place under the sign of Ljubljana, European Green Capital 2016.

Mayor Zoran Janković has hosted Lord Sebastian Coe, a former top athlete and a winner of four Olympic medals on 9 April at the City Hall.
