2007-2017: from Kindergarten to School

Line 15 extended to Sora
On 1 September 2017, the number 15 city buses started driving on the extended route from Medvode to the Sora residential area.

Ljubljana Tourism launched the second part of the campaign for the promotion of destinations and tourist services in the Central Slovenia region which is to continue up to November.

Small Size in Ljubljana
At the end of August, the Ljubljana Puppet Theatre hosted the annual meeting of members of the European project Small Size, a network of 17 theatres and cultural centres which have dedicated their artistic research to children and developed special professional knowledge in the area of performing arts for the early childhood years.

European funds for a Wastewater Collection and Treatment Project
On 14 August 2017, the European Commission approved the financing of a major cohesion project Waste water collection and treatment in the area of the aquifer of ljubljansko polje.

Bicike(LJ) breaking records
The increase in cycling is, in addition to numerous infrastructural improvements and other measures, strongly supported by the immensely popular bike rental system Bicike(LJ). Since the expansion of the system in March 2017 with 13 new stations the number of rentals has increased by as much as 56% in certain months.
