An exhibition celebrating "100 Years of Puppetry in Slovenia" was opened at the National Museum in Ljubljana on 21 March 2014, the World Puppetry Day.

10th Beavers Festival
From 20 January to 8 February, the 10th Culture and Art Education Festival Beavers is taking place in Ljubljana. All festival events are admission-free.

From 8 to 21 June, the already 10th June in Ljubljana festival is taking place at Congress Square featuring numerous admission-free superior artistic creations in the field of dance, theatre and music. Morning and afternoon events are dedicated to children, and evenings to top artistic events.

10 Years of the Funicular to the Ljubljana Castle
On 28 December 2016, 10 years have passed since the funicular railway brought first passengers to the top of the Castle Hill. Since then some 2,900,000 passengers rode on the funicular.
