The city of koper joins rcero ljubljana
On 1 June 2012, the Mayors of Ljubljana and Koper, Zoran Janković and Boris Popovič, signed an accord on the accession of the City of Koper to common waste management at the Ljubljana Regional Waste Management Centre – RCERO Ljubljana.

The City of Ljubljana and the University of Ljubljana signed an agreement on long-term cooperation
On 19 January 2023, Mayor Zoran Janković and Chancellor of the University of Ljubljana, Prof. Dr. Gregor Majdič, signed an agreement on long-term cooperation in the field of sustainable development, infrastructure, culture and art, dealing with housing issues, promoting and organizing work, joint projects and international cooperation between the two institutions.

The Clean for You project
The City of Ljubljana is implementing the largest cohesion project in the county for wastewater drainage and treatment in the area of the City of Ljubljana (and in the municipalities Medvode and Vodice). Over 22,000 citizens are going to be connected to the new sewage system.
