The Ljubljana Urban Region with the new Culture Development Strategy, the first regional strategy of its kind in Slovenia
The Council of the Ljubljana Urban Region unanimously approved the document Culture Development Strategy in the Ljubljana Urban Region 2023-2027, which represents an important building block for the development of culture in the region and gives it a broader meaning, as it also includes other important development areas and intersectoral connections such as sustainable mobility, tourism, economy, preservation of nature and natural heritage, etc.

Closing conference of the Rainbow Cities in Actions project
On Thursday and Friday, 16 and 17 March 2023, the final conference of the Rainbow Cities in Actions – LGBTI Policy Guidelines project was held in Kotor. The main aim of the project is to prepare guidelines for LGBT+ policies in local self-governments and thereby encourage local communities that are not active in this area to launch activities.

Together For a More Beautiful Ljubljana
Again this year, Ljubljana is preparing the traditional spring environmental campaign For a More Beautiful Ljubljana, held between 22 March, World Water Day, and 22 April, World Earth Day. During this time, we are planning a number of activities with which we will show that we care about our environment and that we will work together to ensure that Ljubljana is a clean, green and orderly city.
