New non-profit apartments in Polje
In Polje we built a residential and business complex Polje IV with 64 new non-profit apartments. There are also facilities for a library, a pharmacy and a multipurpose hall.

New skateboarding park in Tivoli
At the skateboarders’ initiative we constructed a new skateboarding park on the former skating rink in Park Tivoli giving the youth another space for quality spending of free time.

Ljubljana among most energy progressive municipalities
At the conference En.municipality & En.management 2019 the most energy progressive municipalities in Slovenia were announced. In the category of urban municipalities the City of Ljubljana was chosen as the most energy progressive.

Software system for plant data collection
Project partner GDi has developed software application for the management of invasive alien plant species (IAPS).

We hosted the EUROCITIES Working Group Meeting
On 12 and 13 June, Ljubljana hosted EUROCITIES Working Group Meetings on Urban Aging and Barrier Free Cities in which we are actively participating.

Župančič Awards 2019
In the garden of the Plečnik House in Trnovo, on 12 June, we ceremoniously presented the Župančič Awards for 2019, the highest recognitions of the City of Ljubljana for outstanding creations in the field of art and culture, which are lastingly enriching the cultural treasure chest of our city and are resounding even in the wider national and international area with their excellence.
