Renovating the Petkovšek Embankment
In Ljubljana, we continue to expand and renovate the pedestrian area in the city centre, which already covers about 17 ha. We started with the renovation of the Petkovšek Embankment between Reselj Street and Rozman Street, which will look similar to the arrangement of the embankment on the section from Prešeren Square to the Dragon Bridge. Parking in the landscaped area during and after the renovation will no longer be possible.

New LPP intercity buses
The fleet of the Ljubljana passenger transport company LPP is enriched by five new, environmentally friendly intercity buses. They are all low-floor buses and thus adapted for the transport of persons with various forms of disabilities.

The 29th Velo-city 2022 cycling conference concluded in Ljubljana on Friday, 17 June 2022. The flag of the conference was passed on to the next host, the city of Leipzig.
