Presentation of city recognitions for 2020
In Congress Square we honoured the recipients of the highest recognitions of the City of Ljubljana for 2020 – the titles Honorary Citizens, awarded to Prof. Dr. Gabi Čačinovič Vogrinčič and Prof. Dr. Jože Mencinger, and the Awards and Plaques of the City of Ljubljana.

Unveiling of the Honorary Citizen Janez Stanovnik monument
In honour of the long-time President of the Union of Associations of War Veterans and Participants in the National Liberation Struggle of Slovenia, partisan and Honorary Citizen of Ljubljana Janez Stanovnik his bust was unveiled in the Valvasor Park near the Tomb of National Heroes.

New veterinary clinic for even better animal care
At the Abandoned Animal Shelter Ljubljana (Zavetišče za zapuščene živali Ljubljana) we have opened a new veterinary clinic and at the same time presented new spaces for pedagogical activities we have set up in two refurbished LPP city buses.

Renovated arcades at the Plečnik’s Market
At the start of July we concluded the renovation of the arcades at the Plečnik’s Market within the scope of which we refurbished the roofing and roof tiles in the area from the Dragon Bridge towards the Butcher’s Bridge.
