The signing of an agreement between the City of Ljubljana and the Ministry of Infrastructure
On 14 March, Mayor Zoran Janković and Minister of Infrastructure Jernej Vrtovec signed the Protocol on Further Implementation of Infrastructure Projects in the City of Ljubljana and the Agreement on Co-financing for Upgrading Facilities and Upgrading the Railway Infrastructure in Ljubljana Stations Railway Area.

The slovenska cesta revamp
The Slovenska Cesta's central section between Šubičeva Ulica and Gosposvetska Cesta will be closed for all motor vehicles, except the city public transport and taxi service. Yellow lanes have been delineated on the Celovška and Dunajska Cesta.

The south-east part of the castle walls at Šance is renovated
South-east part of the castle walls at Šance has been renovated. We have renovated a part of the remains of the fortifications on the castle hill, which was between 1938 and 1939 reworked into a promenade by the architect Jože Plečnik and his team. The renovation, which started on March 15, comprised of a reconstruction of the walls, main stairway, columns, fence, lodges and landscaping the surroundings.

The summer cavaliers are back in town
Two open (summer) Kavalirs, the electric transport vehicles, have started operating on Saturday, 29 March 2014 in the city's centre and the area restricted for motor traffic. The closed Kavalir will continue its regular route. The rides are free of charge.
