The Public Institute Sport Ljubljana offered the Government of the Republic of Slovenia the Sport Hotel in the Gymnastics Centre Ljubljana free-of-charge for possible quarantine needs for citizens returning to the country from abroad.

Technology Park Ljubljana contributing to the development of respirators
There are only 168 respirators in Slovenia and we would need it at least 100 more! As time is not on our side and the delivery periods are long, the Technology Park Ljubljana has been actively trying to bring together the Slovenian technology community into a team of engineers who would develop the presently most important support device for serious coronavirus patients.

On Monday 23 March, we responded to the request from Serbian citizens stranded in Ljubljana traveling to Serbia from various European countries and provided them with food and tea.

On Sunday morning, 22 March, Zagreb was hit by a strong earthquake. We immediately responded and sent aid to the capital city of Croatia on the same day.

Providing space for culture professionals in Ljubljana
After the institute Cirkulacija 2 lost its premises at Tobačna in the beginning of the year, the City of Ljubljana offered them a space of 233 m2 in the Ajdovščina underpass. They are free to use it until the end of 2021 when we start working on the Miniplex – City Cinema.

Ljubljana is an internationally recognized »Tree City«
Ljubljana is recognized as a »Tree City« within the framework of the programme »Tree Cities of the World«. The recognition is awarded by the Arbor Day Foundation and the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the united Nations (FAO) to encourage cities to care for their trees.
