Opening of the renovated part of the ZOO
On Tuesday, 12 June 2018, the Ljubljana ZOO opened a new reindeer enclosure and the renovated upper path around the ZOO, which was destroyed in an ice storm in 2014.

United with shopkeepers and caterers against plastic bags in Ljubljana
The City of Ljubljana is striving to reduce the use of plastic bags, also in cooperation with shopkeepers and caterers in the city centre of Ljubljana. Many of them are already offering paper shopping bags, which we appreciate and support, and that is why we are encouraging others who have still not adopted this behaviour to do so.

Concluded energy renovation of the Jelka kindergarten

During Heritage Days of European Cemeteries organized by the international Association of Significant Cemeteries of Europe the Žale cemetery is offering admission-free tours of the cultural heritage at the cemetery between 28 May and 2 June 2018.

In Kodeljevo Park we opened a renovated playground, where we set up high quality play equipment and natural looking furnishings intended for children of different age groups and provided access to children with disabilities.
