Ljubljana sends help to flooded areas
The City of Ljubljana joined the Republic of Slovenia to send help to the areas in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina devastated by the most catastrophic floods in the last 100 years.

On Monday, 19 may 2014, Mayor Zoran Janković hosted the Ambassador of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Mr Hussam Abdullah Ghodayeh Al Husseini, and the Honorary Consul General of Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Slovenia, Mr Samir Amarin, at the City Hall.

Ljubljana: beloved awarded
Ljubljana's promotional video Ljubljana: Beloved received the 3rd prize in the category of promotional films in the main competition program of the renowned Portuguese Finisterra Arrábida Film Art & Tourism Festival. Within the thematic categories it also won 2nd place in the Travelling category and 3rd place in the Destinations category.

Petar ii petrović-njegoš monument
On 19 May 2014, Ljubljana has unveiled a monument to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great Montenegrin poet, secular ruler and Bishop, Petar II Petrović Njegoš.
