BicikeLJ came to BTC
On 24 July 2014, the BicikeLJ self-service bicycle hire scheme has been expanded with an additional three new BicikeLJ stations in the BTC City area. Now you can hire bicycles at the Citypark, Atlantis Water Park and BTC City Marketplace.

The City of Ljubljana has equipped different locations throughout the city with 43 automated external defibrillators – portable electronic devices that can diagnose cardiac arrests and are able to restart the heart with an electrical surge.

Top 50 Photos
Until 14 September 2014 the Ljubljana Castle will hold the “National Geographic – Top 50 Photos” exhibition which showcases the best photos of all time as selected by the editors of National Geographic.

New ribja brv footbridge
On Sunday, 6 July 2014, the wooden footbridge Ribja Brv connecting the embankments of Hribarjevo Nabrežje and Cankarjevo Nabrežje was removed. The foundations for a new footbridge began immediately and will be completed in middle of August.
