Civil protection awards
On February 28, 2014, the City of Ljubljana awards for distinguished service in the protection against natural disasters and other accidents were conferred in the City Museum of Ljubljana to credit all who offer their assistance in emergencies, i.e. when the help is most needed.

As part of the 'Slovenia Reducing CO²: good practices' project, Umanotera, the Slovenian Foundation for Sustainable Development, has ranked the use of work bikes by Ljubljana City Wardens among the first four cases of good practice in 2013.

The Icar0, Green Go, an electric vehicle, distinguished by its simple construction and compact dimensions, is now used by City Traffic Wardens to provide their services in the inner city centre.
