The website www.ljubljana.si is fully tailored to people with disabilities. According to the international web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.0 standard) of the World Wide Web Consortium it meets the conformance level AA.

We awarded 14 new LGBT-Friendly Certificates
The International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, 17 May, was marked in the City of Ljubljana with the presentation of LGBT-Friendly Certificates and a round table on the integration of LGBT+ young people into the work environment.

We are reducing electricity consumption in Ljubljana
In the City of Ljubljana, we have been aware of the importance of reducing electricity consumption and heating energy for many years, with this aim, we have carried out numerous energy renovations of buildings as well as the refurbishment and regulation of public lighting, which ensures adequate visibility conditions at the right time in the right place.

We are hosting the European Women Basketball Championship in Ljubljana
The European Women Basketball Championship will be held in Ljubljana from 15 to 25 June 2023. The Stožice Hall will host both the group matches and the elimination fights up to the grand finale.

We are further expanding the BicikeLJ system
This fall we have brought bicycles in the self-service bicycle rental system BicikeLJ even closer to our citizens by setting up 9 new locations with 90 bicycles. Ljubljana has already 72 BicikeLJ stations and 720 bicycles.

On 17 May, the International Day of the Fight against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, we awarded four LGBT-Friendly Certificates in the City Hall.
