Opening of the ‘second fiddle’ inn
In Stari trg (Old Square), where ‘Pri Pavli’, one of Ljubljana’s favourite inns used to be, a new inn with the symbolic name ‘Druga violina’ or ‘Second Fiddle’ has opened and will operate as part of the Dolfka Boštjančič Training, Occupation and Care Centre, with staff including people with special needs.

From 347 projects submitted from 36 European countries, the City of Ljubljana's project for the 'Refurbishment of the Banks and the Bridges of the River Ljubljanica' has won the European Prize for Urban Public Space 2012.

Laying the foundation stone for the construction of two faculties
