The Mobile Library has a new Bibliobus
We presented a new vehicle of the Mobile Library of the Ljubljana City Library, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in operation next year, with books travelling as many as 500,000 kilometres during this time. We donated the old Bibliobus, which had been in use for 16 years, to the Rijeka City Library.

The most festive month of the year is coming
The festivities in Ljubljana will begin on Friday, 1 December 2023, with the traditional turning on of the holiday lights and the opening of the holiday fair. This year's New Year's decoration is titled »They Are Us«, calling for mutual respect.

The new cycling yearbook shows the growing trend of bicycle traffic
In addition to numerous infrastructural innovations and improvements for cyclists, Ljubljana introduced this year, when we hosted the largest international cycling conference Velo-city 2022, we also published a new, already fifth cycling yearbook.

The new Rog Centre
In early June 2016, a project of urban, architectural and programme revival of the area of the former Rog bicycle factory started, which was converted into the Rog Centre, and thus setting up a new cultural centre for the widest range of users.

We are presenting the new Urbana application, with which we want to further improve the user experience for users of city services. The application is available in the online stores Google Play and App Store, and user opinions and initiatives regarding the application are accepted until 1 September.

The oldest wooden wheel in the world, discovered in the vicinity of Vrhnika and now kept in the City Museum Ljubljana, has been made the main symbol of the European Business Press Award.

The Pioneer Theatre opened its doors in the Pionirski dom Centre for Youth Culture, devoted to independent cultural creators, non-governmental organizations, self-employed professionals in culture, institutes and associations.
