Call to end homelessness in Europe by 2030
A Social Summit is going to be held in Porto, Portugal, on 7 and 8 May 2021, to address an open letter calling for an end to homelessness in Europe by 2030, signed by numerous members of the European Parliament and mayors of major European cities, among them also Mayor Zoran Janković.

Signed agreement between the City of Ljubljana and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia
On 6 May 2021, Mayor Zoran Janković and Minister of Public Administration Boštjan Koritnik signed the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Slovenia and the City of Ljubljana on the Implementation of Programs and Tasks under the Capital City of the Republic of Slovenia Act for the period 2020-2023.

EU member state flags at Šubič Street
In the City of Ljubljana, we are proud that Ljubljana is the capital of an independent and sovereign state and that we are included in the community of 27 countries of the European Union. As Slovenia is holding the Presidency of the Council of the EU in the second half of this year, we have decided to express our affiliation with the EU also by temporarily erecting poles for the flags of all members.
